Finding A Comfortable Buggy For Baby And You

!±8± Finding A Comfortable Buggy For Baby And You

Buying a new baby buggy nowadays is almost as tricky as buying a new car. There are so many different styles, sizes and systems available that you would be forgiven for not knowing where to start.

Obviously the main factor is to choose one of the infant travel systems that is going to be comfortable for your baby, and which fulfills the needs you have when it comes to going out. If you have a car and will need to take the travel system with you regularly, take some measurements in the shop if you can and make sure the boot of your car is big enough to accommodate the system you are thinking of buying. Don't forget you may have to fit other items in your boot at the same time, such as shopping and other essentials.

The one aspect that many people forget when they are looking at the many stroller travel systems that are available is that it should be comfortable for them as well as their baby. Some of the buggies you can buy have handles that are fixed in position, for example. This is fine if that position happens to be comfortable for you, but if you are rather tall or on the short side you will probably benefit from buying a model which has adjustable handles.

Make sure in this case that you try them out before buying - the design of the handles will vary and you won't necessarily find all styles comfortable for you. Bear in mind that the buggy may be heavy and difficult to push at times, so look for one that has good grips.

While all baby travel systems are designed to fold up neatly and easily when not in use it's a good idea to have a go at folding them up and unfolding them again in the shop before you commit to buying one. If you are on your own and your baby is screaming for some food, the last thing you'll want to be doing is figuring out how to open up your new buggy.

It's tempting to try and save money by buying a cheaper model that isn't quite as good, but bear in mind the long term effects of doing this. When you're on holiday and you're pushing that bargain buggy through a field or along a beach, you'll wish you'd got the more robust model.

In short, there are many aspects to consider when buying a travel system for your baby, and many of them relate to how user friendly it will be. Consider your needs not just now, but in the future. A little forward thinking will help you to make the ideal choice.
